The North Adelaide Baptist Church has remained true to the liturgy of its English emigrant origins, and maintains a traditional style of service.

Let one of our members introduce the church to you:

I believe that at different times on the journey of faith, our needs vary. A few years back, while managing multiple demands on my time and energy from work, family and study, and having little space for myself, I needed something different. So I set about looking, and found myself here. Come in, and I'll show you around.

You may not find our worship service particularly entertaining, neither will you see any multi-media technology, nor a band. But you will experience a thoughtful, contemplative ambience in which you will be able to pause and reflect.

You will be able to participate in worship led with quiet dignity by the minister, organist, and choir. You will be able to sing the great hymns of the faith, as well as experiencing the best of music from all eras, from pre-baroque to contemporary. And you might even change your mind about organ music when you hear a real pipe organ played by a particularly skilled musician.

You certainly won't find perfection! But you will find a welcoming community of Christians who seek to accept and care for one another, and encourage one another in the faith.
